Destiny by Celia Breslin Sizzling PR Blitz - book cover

Hello Dear Readers!

I’m happy dancing in the book blogosphere this week, celebrating release week for DESTINY, the second book in The Tranquilli Bloodline Series!

Excerpts
As part of the celebration, you can read three excerpts this week.

Opening Scene (PG-13)

My day moved from ordinary to interesting when the deliveryman handed me a box that smelled of blood.

The scent made my mouth water. Pungent iron mixed with, of all things, lavender. My thoughts flew straight to Tessa, my surrogate vampire mother. When she pulled out one of her specialty powers, the one I fondly referred to as vampire valium, this relaxing, floral herb scented the air and reduced friend or foe to a boneless, helpless puddle.

I shut the front door on the retreating back of the deliveryman and wiggled the box.

Carina Encounters Her Nemesis (NC-17)

My attacker pinned me face-first to the trunk, grinding an erection into my backside. Panic and pain pierced my gut. Oh, hell no. I struggled to free myself, my power eager to fry the bastard. But a familiar wintery power slid under my skin and doused my fire as if it were a weak matchstick.

Warm breath teased my earlobe. “Hello, pet.”

    I froze. Fuck me. Dixon.

Carina’s Video Date With Alexander (NC-17)

We came watching each other pleasure ourselves. The thought sent more tremors tumbling through me. Alexander’s expression, the hungry heat in his eyes, told me he shared my satisfaction.

[…]

“So,” I began, unable to keep the satisfied grin off my face.

“So,” he echoed, licking his lower lip.

“That was fun.”

“Fun,” he parroted me again.

I straightened my spine and rolled my neck and shoulders, breathing deep to ground myself in a non-sexual reality. I hadn’t yet mentioned Dixon’s return or the unusual gift the evil bastard had sent me.

[…]

I opened my mouth to start the “Dixon is back” conversation and chickened out. “We should do that every night,” I blurted instead. “Come to think of it, why haven’t we? That was so much better than doing it alone.”

Heat crept over my cheeks. Had I just said that out loud?

[…]

He chuckled, a sexy rumble that twitched my insides. “I love it when you blush for me.”

“I don’t.” I covered my cheeks with my palms.

Two months of dating and our fated status as soul mates slash bonded vampire mates, and still he possessed the power to make me react like a giddy teenager. I loved and hated that blushing schoolgirl reaction, but he made every moment with him -—online or offline -— feel like that first exciting moment when our eyes met across a crowded room, or in our case, across a crowded hallway in a museum. Or like our first touch on the dance floor in my club. Electric. All-consuming. Inevitable.

I used to laugh at my psychic pal Faith whenever she’d talk of destiny and fate, then one look at Alexander and voilà -— game over.

Destiny by Celia Breslin book cover

In HAVEN, San Francisco nightclub owner Carina Tranquilli survives a vicious attack by her vampire family’s longtime archenemies. Several weeks later, as she struggles with PTSD and survivor’s guilt, supervillain Dixon resurfaces and kidnaps two of her best friends. To save them, Carina must comply with the evil bastard’s unusual demands. The kicker? She must tell no one what she is up to.

Meanwhile, she has a new dance club to open for the preternatural community, a fated soul mate acting secretive and distant, and a sexy, new, undead friend who’d love to take Alexander’s place in her heart and bed.

Blackmailed, betrayed, tempted…sometimes destiny has a wicked sense of humor.
